Greene County Department of Human Services is seeking volunteers
The Greene County Department of Human Services is seeking volunteers for the Home Delivered Meals Program, as well as the Homebound Medical Transportation Program. A vehicle is necessary and there is no age requirement. All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application. Mileage reimbursement is available for the medical transportation program. Blue Star Mothers aide for Veterans
If you’re a veteran in need of help with your lawn work, call the Blue Star Mothers, Greene County Region NY13 at (518) 945-1325. They will help with trimming, raking, lawn mowing, etc. They will also provide veterans with a free shave and haircut as well as furnish the transportation for those services.
Greene County Women’s League
The Greene County Women’s League is a non-profit organization that assists Greene County residents who have been diagnosed with cancer. Aid will be provided for cancer-related medical costs not covered by insurance including prosthesis and co-pays for pharmacy, doctor and/or hospital bills. Donations may be sent to Greene County Woman’s League Cancer Patient Aid, PO Box 341, Round Top, NY 12473.
